November 14th · 12pm-2pm ET
Buy-Side Valuation Techniques is a live, interactive course focused on the valuation frameworks used by fundamental investors to assess risk/reward and support an investment thesis.
Rather than approaching valuation as an academic exercise, we'll focus on how analysts at mutual funds and hedge funds use valuation in practice: choosing the right methodology for a business, understanding what the market is pricing in, and determining what has to happen for a stock to generate an attractive return.
Using real-world examples, we'll examine several approaches to valuation to deepen your understanding of how various methods are used in practice.
Topics include:
DCF versus multiples-based valuation techniques
Selecting and applying valuation multiples — P/E, EV/EBITDA, FCF yield, and others
How to approach valuation for high-growth companies
Cyclical valuation
Assessing upside, downside, and risk/reward
Format: 2-hour live, interactive workshop via Google Meet
Class size: Limited to 15 participants
Who it's for: MBA students pursuing fundamental investment roles who want to strengthen their practical understanding of valuation
Enrollment is limited to 15 participants
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the first course session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the first session are non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for missed sessions or partial attendance.
