Financial Modeling for Buy-Side Investing - November 2026
November 1 · 12pm-4pm ET (including short breaks)
Financial Modeling for Buy-Side Investing is a live, practical course focused on building financial models for fundamental investment research.
Rather than treating modeling as an accounting exercise, the course focuses on the questions that matter to an investor: What drives the business? Which assumptions matter most? How should your investment thesis translate into the model?
We'll build a model around a real-world company and use it to understand how operating assumptions flow through the financial statements and ultimately affect earnings, cash flow, and valuation.
Topics include:
Building a practical three-statement financial model
Identifying the key operating and financial drivers of a business
Constructing a revenue build
Translating an investment thesis into financial assumptions
Developing bull/base/bear scenarios
Format: 4-hour live, interactive workshop via Google Meet, including short breaks
Class size: Limited to 15 participants
Who it's for: MBA students preparing for investment management recruiting or looking to strengthen their practical financial-modeling skills
Basic Excel/accounting proficiency required
Enrollment is limited to 15 participants
$425
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the first course session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the first session are non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for missed sessions or partial attendance.
